I have extensive experience in the Attractions Industry.  I was CEO of Rainbow’s End Theme Park in Auckland, New Zealand for a 10-year period from 2007 to 2017 after being promoted from Operations Manager, a position I held for 5 years.

 

During this period Rainbow’s End achieved significant growth in attendance and profitability with attendance growing by 42% over this period. I was responsible for overseeing many exciting projects, including:

  • The development and implementation of a 5-year strategic plan for the park

  • A change of ownership of the company

  • The addition of new rides, attractions and park developments

  • A full rebranding of the park

  • A new marketing approach and strategy

  • The development of a comprehensive health and safety management system

  • The fostering of a positive and inclusive customer/safety focused culture
